Terms and Conditions

• All Classes under 105 are Closed Restricted to Club members but EA members are invited to enter. A Compolsury Day member fee has been added and will be refunded to current club members or EA members upon request.
• 3 starts per horse maximum Saturday and Sunday. 2 starts maximum for TSHA Classes.
• EA Rules apply, Riders must be EA (Must be EA for open classes) or MRC members (must be MRC for closed restricted) EA members are invited to compete in classes under 105 marked closed restricted.
We strongly suggest that all riders should have EA membership or their own insurance to provide themselves with insurance cover should they have a fall. All riders ride at their own risk. MRC membership does not include insurance coverage for members. EA membership, either full or participant, provides personal injury and third-party protection.
• All horses must have Base (for under 1.05m classes) or Full (for 1.05m height classes and higher) EA registration. Unless Club Member competing in classes under 105.
• Club memberships are available on nominate membership New Members prices are yearly $45 Single and $70 Family or half year $25 Single and $35 Family. Closed Restricted classes do not require EA Base membership for horses but horses must still be over the age of 4 to compete.
• Classes with multiple sections marked a/b competitors must choose a section and cannot enter both parts.
• To be eligible for TSHA classes your thoroughbred must be registered with the Australian Thoroughbred Stud Book and have a TSHA licence. See below for details on how to obtain a TSHA licence on Global. Only 2 starts in TSHA classes for this show.
• Jackets optional for all classes. All competitors all heights are expected to wear correct dress: see Art 256.
• EA tagged approved helmet & boots must be worn.
• Early Entries are provided to volunteers, committee members and sponsors please contact Casey or Allyson to arrange to volunteer or sponsor.
• Entries on Global and yards/camping through Global
• Both rings will run as close to draw order as possible Ring 1 takes priority all entrants to help pick up rails.
• Live editing will be open during the event and will close each day at 3pm.
• Refunds – no refund will be processed unless request is sent to Casey or Allyson refunds are not automatic and all refunds regardless of reason will incur a $20 refund fee this includes before the closing date. No refunds will be given without a valid reason after the closing date, change of mind is not a valid reason. Vet or medical certificate may be requested. Don’t make us feel bad by requesting a refund if you do not qualify for one.
• OC may move any class between rings to ensure smooth running of event.
• The Organising Committee may accept or reject any entries.
• The OC reserves the right to make changes to the terms and conditions as necessary.
• Riders and support people must follow instructions of organising committee and officials at all times. OC will do their best to resolve any reported problems.
• Protests must be addressed to the Ground Jury in writing, accompanied by a $50 fee and be lodged no later than 30 minutes after the announcement of the results of the relevant class. The period of jurisdiction of the Ground Jury is 60 minutes after the announcement of the final results of the class. The fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld.
All riders competing at the event will be expected to have read and accepted the conditions of entry.
Prizes and Presentation
• Presentations are to be held mounted at the conclusion of the class. For classes with sections presentations will be held in the order of the sections at the conclusion of the Class. Riders must attend presentation. All prizemoney to be paid in cash on the day. Any prizemoney not collected by the end of the competition day will be gratefully received as a donation to the club. Unawarded prizes and prizemoney will be redistributed to other events throughout the year.
