Show Jump Training rounds at Hay-Leigh Hollows Performance Horses

HARA equine show jumping requires PRE ENTRY and immediate payment
Course walk @ 8.30am; first horse on course @ 9am.
Riders may also walk the course when the heights are being increased.
Enter each round you wish to train over; maximum of three (3) rounds per horse.
The format for “Non Competition show jumping” is:
- Courses designed over a maximum of 14 obstacles
- Riders attend the warm up to collect their entry tickets that must to be handed to the main arena marshal after attending the warm up arena.
- Riders list their rides on the white board with the warm up marshal in the warm-up arena.
- Riders complete the course set out then exit the arena in a timely manner according to the direction of the arena marshal MAXIMUM 5 REFUSALS PER ROUND.
- Riders will be called into the arena when the previous rider is nearing the finish of their round. If the horse is listed for two or three rounds at the same height, they can re-enter the arena as agreed with the marshal and as listed on the white board.
- Horses are limited to three [3] rounds in a day; these can be at the same or concurrent heights.
- Course heights will continue to range from x-rails to 1.20m
- Riders will be sent an approximate draw 1-2 days in advance via Email. Riders must be aware that heights may go up earlier than the approximate times and must keep an eye on how the day is running as once heights go up they cannot come back down.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
- All entrants must be current members of Equestrian Australia
- All entrants enter via Global into the height(s) desired. You must enter the horse details FOR EACH OF UP TO THREE ROUNDS you intend entering. That is, if you intend doing two rounds at 60cm and one at 75cm, then the horse must be entered twice in the 60cm and once in the 70cm classes.
- The cost will be $12 per horse /per round with a $25 rider levy (to cover ground hire, insurances etc.)
- Enter the horse and rider details only into the desired height/s
- Only two horses should be in the arena at any one time.
- The maximum number of horses in the ring will be strictly adhered to
- Horses can only enter three times on a day (eg 3 x 1m OR 2 x 1m + 1 x 1.10m).
- It is not a competition day; there are no judges, the rounds are not timed and no placings or prizemoney will be offered.
- All fence heights are approximate to the advertised height.
- Entry to an arena is by “white board order” and is controlled by the arena marshal a rough draw will be sent to riders 1-2 days in advance.
- If you entered to do two or three rounds at one height you must inform the arena marshal at the time that your name is put onto the white board. The marshal will then arrange for you to place the second and third rounds on the white board with 2/3 horses between rounds
- Please be considerate of other riders waiting to jump and vacate the course for the next rider promptly.
- Please be prepared to start your round immediately after the rider on course has completed their round.
- Jumping the same line or a single fence – is permitted at the discretion of the arena marshal
- You must vacate the arena when requested by the marshal.
EA Code of Conduct for jumping warm up arenas applies at all times.
The Organisers reserves the right, at their discretion, to accept or refuse any entry
Please note in the event of a cancellation or scratching for any reason, all riders will receive a refund less a $10 admin fee and any processing fees, no refunds will be issued if a scratching is made after the close of entries.
