World Cup Qualifier
Please note that from 01 January 2006, riders and horses participating in CSI and CSI-W competition must be FEI-registered.
World Cup Entries ~ Riders nominating for the World Cup Qualifier must submit their own and their horse's names and registration numbers along with the full entry fee by 8.00am, Sunday 29th November.
This competition will run under the FEI World Cup Jumping Rules Season 2009-2010,
Rules for the Australian League of the WC Jumping March 2007 and
The Rules for Jumping Events and its Annexes, 23rd edition, effective 1st January 2009
This competition will be judged under Article 273 1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.3
1st September 2009 - World Cup rule change effective immediately.
Part A competition point 1. The wording “To gain entry to the World Cup class, the horse and rider combination must start in another class at the show prior to the World Cup class” HAS BEEN REMOVED.
Trot Up
The trot up will be held on Sunday 29th November near the old brick Greyhound Kennels adjacent to the Maffra Road at 10.00am. Time to be confirmed.
There will be an award made to the best presented horse and rider at the trot up. To be eligible rider has to trot up own horse.
Ring 3.
Non official height classes (as per schedule) horses need not be registered. Riders must be either current EA members, current members of the Sale and District Showjumping Club Inc, current HRCAV members or current PCAV members. Valid membership cards must be sighted by event secretary prior to competing in this ring.
Cash prizes for 1st to 3rd. The other placings will be a bag of horse feed from Mitavite.
Competition Arena
Three competition rings will be located on the main arena. There will be no rings in the centre of the Greyhound complex.
Ring 1 will take precedence over Ring 2 and Ring 3
Practice Arena
Ring 3 practice arena will be off the arena and located near the Henebery Pavilion
Ring 2 practice arena will be located near the green toilets west of the arena.
Ring 1 practice arenas will be on the arena. The number of competitors using this area will be limited for safety reasons.
Exercise areas will be made available outside the main arena.
Presentations
Presentations for Ring 1 will be held in front of the Grandstand.
Presentations for Ring 2 and 3 will be held in front of the judge’s boxes in the respective rings.
All prize winners to be mounted and correctly attired.
Rugs awarded will be placed on the horse prior to the presentation.
For the presentation, a competitor of a stallion may substitute him for another horse.
Ribbons/sashes to 6th placing. The exception is Mini Prix and World Cup classes where placings are to 8th.
The minimum number of prizes offered for each competition will be allocated on the basis of one prize for every commenced six competitors in the official classes.
The Cable Stitch Pro-Am Invitation
This is invitation class only.
Each entry will consist of an invited senior rider, and a Pony Club C Grade member from the East Gippsland Zone who has been selected to represent their Pony Club.
The Pony Club selection class was held in October.
