CONDITIONS FOR GOLD, SILVER AND BRONZE ELM TOURS
A block entry is available at a discounted price for athletes to compete in either the Gold or Silver or Bronze Elm Tours.
Athletes do have the opportunity to enter individual classes of the Gold or Silver or Bronze Tours. However, horses may only compete in one of the final Gold (either Mini Prix or World Cup qualifier), Silver or Bronze Elm Tour classes. Horses must remain in their respective Tours to score points.
Horses can only score points in one Tour.
In the Bronze and Silver Elm Tours a rider may only enter a horse in one section, either A or B or C.
In the Gold Elm Tour riders may only enter a horse in either 7A or 7B not both classes
Block entry for the Bronze Elm Tour- 3 Classes 4, 9 and16 is $76. Total prize money for the three classes is $4,100
Block entry for the Silver Elm Tour- 3 Classes 2, 6, and 14 is $105. Total prize money for the three classes is $6,000
Block entry for the Gold Elm Tour (Mini Prix) - 3 Classes 7A or 7B, 15 and 22 is $180. Total prize money for the three classes is $8,750
The block entry for the Gold Elm Tour (WCQ) - 3 Classes 7A or 7B, 15 and 23 is $210. Total prize money for the three classes is $10,750
TOUR WINNER BONUSES
Bronze Elm Tour: $200 will be awarded to the leading Open Horse from classes 4A, 9A, 16A.
$200 will be awarded to the leading Amateur from classes 4B, 9B, 16B
$200 will be awarded to the leading Veteran from classes 4C, 9C, 16C
Silver Elm Tour: $250 will be awarded to the leading Open Horse from classes 2A, 6A, 14A
$250 will be awarded to the leading Veteran/Amateur from 2B, 6B, 14B
$500 will be awarded to the leading Horse born on or after 1/8/02 from 2C, 6C, 14C
Gold Elm Tour: $1000 will be awarded to the leading Open horse from classes (7A or 7B), 15 and (22 or 24)
$1000 will be awarded to the leading 8 Year Old Horse from (7A or 7B), 15 and (22 or 24)
Horse born on or after 1/8/01.
In the Amateur and Veteran classes, only the horse eligible for points.
Scoring for the leading awards and the overall Tour winners are as follows.
Bronze Elm Tour
Points will be awarded from 9 to 4 to the place getters of Classes 4A, 9A, 16A and 4B, 9B, 16B.
Points will be awarded from 6 to 1 to the place getters of Classes 4C, 9C,16C
Silver Elm Tour
Points will be awarded from 9 to 4 to the place getters of Classes 2A, 6A, 14A and 2B, 6B, 14B.
Points will be awarded from 6 to 1 to the place getters of Classes 2C, 6C, 14C
Gold Elm Tour (Mini Prix)
Points will be awarded from 6 to 1 to the place getters of Classes 7A or 7B and 15
Points will be awarded from 9 to 2 to the place getters of Class 22 (Mini Prix)
Gold Elm Tour (World Cup Qualifier)
Points will be awarded from 6 to 1 to the place getters of Classes 7A or 7B and 15
Points will be awarded from 12 to 5 to the place getters of Class 24 (World Cup Qualifier)
A trophy rug will be awarded to the overall winner of the 3 sections of each of the Bronze and Silver Elm Tours
A trophy rug will be awarded to the overall winner of the Gold Elm Tour
The inaugural Elms Medal will be awarded to the overall winners of the Bronze, Silver and Gold Elm Tours.
In the case of equality of points there will be a count back to the highest placed combination from the 3rd leg of each Tour and if necessary the highest placed competitor from the 2nd leg of each tour.
